Vestaburg Community Schools
The $9.2 million bond building program for Vestaburg Community School was a phased project that spanned two years.
The project included the 18,795 sq ft addition of a new commons area that linked the existing middle/elementary school to the high school. Other projects included science labs, a fitness area, new playground, media center and boiler room.
Major renovations of 47,004 sq ft included upgrades to the high school office as well as the middle school administration area. Classrooms and hallways were upgraded throughout the district.
Included in the contract was the new Keitz R. Wood Stadium. This stadium features a new natural grass field, aluminum bleachers with a 720-seat capacity, the Richard Davis press box, an asphalt track with field event areas, security fencing, a concessions facility and ticket booths.
