Mona Shores Public Schools Bond Program
This three-phase master plan included the renewing of a sinking fund, the passing of a $93 million bond campaign in May 2015 towards district-wide improvements, and a larger bond vote in 2019.
The successful bond included renovations and additions to multiple district buildings including Mona Shore High School, Mona Shores Middle School, Lincoln Park Elementary, Churchill Elementary and Ross Park Elementary. The bond also included a new state-of-the-art football stadium, soccer field and baseball diamond.
Triangle’s role in assisting the district began with a thorough facility assessment to identify needs and improvements. We developed a strategic plan, including budget estimates and a timeline. Subsequently, we worked closely with the district’s leadership to engage the community effectively, creating informative materials, conducting public meetings, and addressing concerns to build support for the bond campaign come election day.
