Freedom Acres School
Renovations and additions took place at Ionia ISD’s Freedom Acres school, a facility that offers programs for students with severe cognitive impairments, moderate cognitive impairments, and severe emotional impairments.
Focus of the project included enhancing learning spaces, safety, and a welcoming office that allows for visitors to enter the building with ease. Additional improvements included work to the surrounding site and playground.
The school is a year-round occupied campus so during the build, communication and safety were a high priority for this project to ensure all staff were aware of the unique surroundings.
