Cedar Springs Public Schools Bond Program
Triangle recently wrapped up the first two projects of the $68 million bond program. Updated mechanical work was completed and unit ventilators were installed to provide heating, cooling and improved air purification at Cedar Trails Elementary School. Classrooms at Red Hawk Elementary and Cedar View Elementary were renovated to accommodate STEM (hands-on based learning) programming.
At Cedar Springs Middle School, drives and entrances were updated to alleviate past frustrations related to traffic congestion during drop-off and pick-up times. STEM classrooms also were incorporated.
Current projects include an addition and renovations to Cedar Springs High School. Construction includes eight new classrooms on the northwest wing of the building, a STEM classroom, as well as a renovation of the existing media center, which will become the main entrance and administrative offices.
