Triangle Constructors Foreman
Primary Responsibilites
- Ability to work safely and efficiently
- Ability to lead multiple crews and varying crew sizes
- Understand the contract drawings and documents on every job
- Be a leader and mentor to the crews
- Push works schedules expeditiously
- Meet with Triangle Constructor Field Manager to review the project and go over the job binder
- AM and PM Huddle
- Maintain daily logs
- Work towards beating the projected hours of labor while at the same time, turn in a good project with zero rework
- Reduce Punch List and Warranty Items
- Be at the job site well in advance of the crews starting to lay out the day’s work
- Be the last one leave assuring the job site is clean and organized
- Monitor the crew’s arrivals and departures for the day
- Be diligent about keeping the break times and lunch times and ensuring the crew is following employee handbook/operations manual guidelines
- Check work along the way to ensure it’s up to code and specifications
- Have full construction knowledge of residential and commercial construction practices.
Job Requirements and Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency
- Completed Carpentry Apprenticeship/Training is preferred
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
- Proven experience of a minimum of 10 years in general construction and carpentry
- 3 years minimum in a leadership role
- Provides leadership and guidance to laborers and carpenters with efficiency and drive
- Strong knowledge of carpentry methods, tools and materials
- Proficient in using electric and manual equipment and tools
- Expert in reading documents and blueprints
- Demonstrated Communication Skills
