Construction Carpenter
Primary Responsibilities
- Ability to work safely and efficiently
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Complete a project with zero re-work
- Adhere to company policies (break/lunch times, attendance, etc.)
- Work with blueprints or instructions from supervisors
- Wood and metal framing, installation of cabinetry, hollow metal frames, HM Doors, commercial door hardware, mill work, specialties, selective demolition, etc.
Job Requirements and Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency
- Proven experience of a minimum of 5 years in general construction.
- Knowledge of wood and metal framing, installation of cabinetry, hollow metal frames, HM Doors, commercial door hardware, mill work, specialties, selective demolition, etc.
- Ownership of basic carpentry tools
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
- Knowledge of carpentry methods, tools and materials
- Ability to read documents and blueprints
- Good understanding of basic math
- Good communication skills
- Be dependable and have a good attitude
