Riley Farms Elementary School
Triangle is proud to present Riley Farms Elementary School, a modern and innovative educational facility designed to house 550 students from pre-kindergarten to fifth grade. This 79,000-square-foot building emphasizes flexible learning spaces and integration with nature, providing a unique educational environment for West Ottawa Public Schools.
Key Features
– Flexible Learning Spaces: The school features flexible learning areas that cater to both small and large group projects, leveraging technology to stimulate student participation and growth.
– Outdoor Learning Integration: Each student wing has dedicated outdoor learning areas, and the natural site wetlands are used for science classes, promoting hands-on, nature-based learning.
– Interior Courtyard and Sensory Classrooms: The design includes an interior courtyard and sensory classrooms, enhancing the learning experience by providing diverse and adaptive environments.
– Natural Lighting: Daylight harvesting is implemented in all classrooms, maximizing natural light and creating a bright, conducive learning atmosphere.
– Unique Site Development: The construction of the school required significant site development, including building a bridge and mitigating wetlands to create access roads and circulation drives. The site, donated by a local farmer, is set back from the road, giving the school the feel of an old farmhouse and justifying its name, Riley Farms.
Riley Farms showcases our team’s capability to deliver innovative and sustainable educational facilities that integrate natural elements, flexible learning spaces, and advanced security measures.
