Project Superintendent
Responsibilities and Duties
- Review and be fully knowledgeable as to the project specifications, drawings and contract requirements
- Identify potential errors regarding project drawings and specifications
- Review and be fully knowledgeable of job estimates, subcontracts, purchase orders and other agreements relative to the conduct of the project
- Complete Daily Report
- Schedule project from start of construction to completion of punch list
- Develop overall project schedule based upon construction documents and contractual completion dates
- Develop detailed interim progress schedules (3 week duration)
- Monitor and analyze performance of self-performed work and sub-contractors work against published schedules, and quality standards both interim and overall
- Review and determine restrictions imposed by submittal development time, engineer’s review time, fabrication time and installation time with Project Management Team
- Schedule personnel, equipment and materials for use on the project
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or relevant work history
- Proven track record of working on projects in the $10-$200 million range
- Experience working as part of a Commercial General Contracting team
- Experience in K-12/Education sector is a plus
- Experience working within the medical/senior living facilities sector is a plus
