Northwood University North Village Housing
PHASE I
This new $14 million, 85,000 sq ft project replaced the university’s existing South Village Housing complex with stylish apartment-style living for students. The new building is a stunning, modern three-story complex located in the natural wooded setting on the campus of Northwood University. This complex was the first new housing facility to be built in 37 years.
The 59 units can house up to 160 students. Each unit features open floor plans, nine foot ceilings, and full kitchens. Complex amenities include a main floor lobby with gathering area, study lounges, and laundry facilities. Various unit sizes were constructed to allow students to choose from two or four bedroom units along with individual room options.
PHASE II
The second phase of the housing project was part of the university’s master expansion plan. The $13.4 million, 71,500 sq ft apartment complex features an additional 58 units.
