Triangle Associates has a long-standing partnership with Jenison Public Schools, collaborating since 1998 on over $260 million worth of district upgrades. Triangle was selected to construct the Early Learning Childhood and Spanish Immersion Center, marking the first new school in the district in 50 years. This two-story, 86,600-square-foot facility features a total of 36 classrooms, including eight dedicated to the innovative Spanish immersion program.

Key Features

– Advanced Technology: The center boasts state-of-the-art technology, with assisted listening systems in every classroom, LED lighting controls, and oversized windows to maximize natural light.

– Outdoor Learning: The natural grounds, including creeks and ponds, are utilized as outdoor learning areas, enriching the educational experience by connecting students with nature.

– Play and Recreation: The facility includes two new playgrounds designed for different age groups and two full-sized playfields, promoting physical activity and social interaction.

– Budget Efficiency: Despite a tight original construction budget, Triangle successfully reduced the construction cost by $1.5 million during the design and bidding process. The project was completed 5.3% under budget.

– Unique Features: The school includes an elevated train and track circling the entry atrium, adding a unique and engaging feature for students and visitors.

The project exemplifies our ability to deliver innovative and cost-effective solution all while focusing on technology, safety, and collaborative learning.
