Kleiner Commons Dining Hall
Triangle worked with Grand Valley State University on expanding and renovating the Kleiner Commons dining hall, which is centrally located in the freshman neighborhood, at its Allendale campus. The 30,000 sq ft project more than doubled the size of what was the current dining hall (12,000 sq ft), providing a micro-restaurant environment and social space for students to interact and study. It also paved the way for additional dining venues and a Qdoba restaurant. The second floor of the addition was completed as flex space for GVSU staff providing approximately 7,000 sq ft of office space.
Triangle worked with GVSU to accomplish this critical piece of the freshman campus which began in November 2013 with construction starting in February of 2014. Throughout the challenging winter we completed this project in time for the fall semester to begin in 2014.
